This chocolate bar is made from unique cocoa beans. The Peruvian Pure Nacional type of cocoa, considered extinct since 1916, organically grows in the heights of the Marañón Valley located at the north end of the country. These hybrid beans with white and violet colors call for special attention during our gentle and slow roasting to produce a pale looking chocolate with hints of honey and blueberries.
